Pointy where he should not be

A young cat who insists you play before being fed. Obviously traumatised at some point as he initially avoided all attempt at contact, shrinking away as in fear. His only look was a wide eyed stare.

3 pointyWith gentle and consistent hand feeding after play, he has started to accept light rubbing under the chin and around the neck. He now also responds to slow blinking by blinking back.

Most recently he will walk up to greet trusted people, rubbing noses if you bend down and rubbing against your legs if not. Pointy rarely makes a noise, just the faintest of miaows. We are still working on a purr.

It is so rewarding to see the improvement in Pointy and his owners now have a socialised pet that can be part of the family.
